Located at our Weymouth site and operating on weekdays from 9am to 3pm, The Activities Centre provides a day programme for young to middle-aged adults with intellectual disabilities. The centre is equipped to provide services for people who require greater support to carry out daily living activities. Adjustable tables are a feature for those who use wheelchairs as is a wheelchair-accessible bathroom and Rescare-provided transport to the wider community. The centre includes a:
- Indoor pool
- Computer
- Television
- Sensory garden
The day programme alternates between community outings and centre-based activities:

Out and about in the community
Group outings are kept small and staff ratio is dependent on people’s needs to ensure the right amount of support. Examples include:

- Shopping
- Movies
- Visiting local parks
- Ice skating
